Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Becato LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Lumior Art”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit lumiorart.com or buy from us. It includes our Notice at Collection and information for California and other US state residents.

Notice at Collection: what we collect and why

• Identifiers and contact details (name, email, billing country and ZIP if entered, account login): to process orders, deliver files, provide support and secure accounts. Kept for as long as your account exists and, for orders, 7 years for tax and accounting records.
• Commercial information (products bought, order history, discount codes): to fulfill orders, prevent fraud and keep records. Kept 7 years.
• Payment information: card details are collected by Stripe or PayPal, not by us. We receive only the payment status and limited details such as card brand and last four digits.
• Communications (emails, custom requests, chat messages, reviews and photos you submit): to answer you, create custom work and display reviews. Chat transcripts are not stored by us after the conversation ends; emails and requests are kept up to 3 years.
• Internet activity (pages and products viewed, referring site, campaign tags, device type, approximate country): to understand what customers like and improve the shop. Our own analytics set no cookies; the visitor identifier is a one-way hash of IP address and browser data with a salt that changes every day, so it cannot be used to recognize you across days, and we do not store your IP address for analytics. Kept up to 26 months.
• Advertising cookies and pixels: only if you allow them (see Cookie Policy).

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the shop for us, under contracts that limit their use of your data: Stripe and PayPal (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (the automated chat assistant processes the messages you type to generate replies). If you accept advertising cookies, Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and Microsoft may receive device and browsing information for analytics and advertising; under California law this may be “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information for money. In the past 12 months we have not sold personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can opt out of any “sharing” for advertising at any time: choose Reject in Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or email [email protected] with “Do not sell or share”. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out for that browser. Our response to other “Do Not Track” signals is the same as to GPC.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states), you may have the right to: know and access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; get a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing; and appeal our decision on your request. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you use with us. We will verify your request by confirming that email address and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent with your signed permission. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal”; if you disagree with the outcome you may contact your state attorney general.

Notice of financial incentive

We offer a one-time discount code when you join our email list. The code is a financial incentive under California law. We estimate the value of your email address to us as roughly equal to the discount given. You can join by entering your email in the sign-up form and can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing; the code remains valid until it expires.

Marketing emails

We send offers and new designs only if you sign up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; order and delivery emails are sent regardless because they are needed for your purchase.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.

International visitors

We are based in the United States and your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. EU/UK visitors may also contact their data protection authority.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
